The best almond croissants in Santa Rosa. The almond paste is generous and full of flavor, the croissant perfectly done. Sitting inside or out is a pleasure.

Although set against the parking lot, they actually have a nice outdoor sitting area with some French music softly playing. Nice inside too. They are, however, very expensive. The tasty, very small raisin pastry was $5, not including tax. Also had the almond croissant, which was $5.74 including tax. It was perfectly soft and fluffy but the flavor was not there. Absolutely no almond flavor in the paste they are using. So was disappointed there. But I will come again, even though expensive, only because I like to support the small businesses.

I got an albacore tuna sandwich, that was not bad considering I'm not the biggest fan of canned tuna (probably should've asked to clarify with them before on what type of tuna that would be used so my fault!). The amount of tuna they gave was very filling and also kept on sliding out of my sandwich. My boyfriend and I also got a french press for 2 to share. This tasted okay. We got a pear tart to go that we didn't end up eating until a day after so the crust was a bit soggy. I'm sure if we ate it fresh, it would've been even better! The waitress/cashier were really kind and made sure we were enjoying everything just fine. The tables were a bit cramped together so hard to pass on some sides. All in all - a nice time here on our last day here in Santa Rosa!

Our book club had our holiday lunch here today and had a magnificent experience. The servers were all so kind and accommodating with us. The place has a charming cozy feel. Each item we ordered was scrumptious (we all had something different). And the bakery items look divine. I took mine to go as I was quite satiated from lunch. I also took a bowl of their curry carrot soup home for dinner. I will totally be coming back here!

This is a real small café in the Montgomery Village area. Our book club decided to have Christmas luncheon there. The room was quite comfortable. It was a little on the small side, but we all fit the table that we were assigned The staff were very friendly and very accommodating . I had the roast beef French dip sandwich Was good but a little bit salty for my taste. It might've just been me because I am sensitive to salt. It came with a salad, which was a delicious. I got the curry carrot soup to take home with me for dinner and a dessert. Those I got pictures of the sandwich I forgot. The soup was good and

Was on the hunt for a cafe that served coffee and light lunch/pastries and stumbled upon this through Yelp. Thank you Yelpers for another great pick! Consensus reviews are spot on. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a warm smile and friendly greeting. We didn't feel rush to order as there were plenty of things to choose from: Food: ordered the frittata, croque madame, and a cup of soup. Frittata was great (esp with the french press coffee that I ordered along side it) and piping hot. Croque madame was 100% must order again. It was flavorful, salted just right, and the gooey mix of egg yolk and cheese makes me think about recreating this gem at home. The bread was not hard and provided just the right amount of carbs to absorb all the liquids. Soup of the day was beef and vegetable. Perfect hearty comfort soup to warm up amidst the cold weather spell that morning (below 50). Service: great Ambiance: not a ton of seating but it wasn't too crowded for us. Seating is mainly tables for 2-4 people and there's a section with a banquette along the wall that can be combined to make seating for 6+. Overall, very happy that I came here and would definitely stop by again in the future.

This is one of those "how have I never known about this restaurant!?!?" kinds of places. I chose this for my girlfriend lunch and though it sounded familiar, I knew I had never been before. I was several minutes early so I ordered an almond croissant "to bring home" then found us a table outside. It was about 11:45 on a Tuesday morning and the place was fairly empty minus my table and maybe one other inside. Little did I know that in 20 minutes time, I would be waiting in a line that went out the door. When my friend arrived, we got in line, placed our orders, and then sat back down. We were grateful we had a table because no lie... by that time ... every single spot was taken, including the ones out next to the parking lot. I don't know what magic or love was in the preparation of that food or maybe I just ordered the most decadent thing on the menu but my Croque Madame was incredible! Every component could shine on its own, but when you put them all together together...good heavens! Perfection. Not to be outdone, that croissant was flaky and buttery, and all things almond in flavor. It had just the right amount to not be overwhelming, but enough to make certain you know what flavor you chose. Of course, I learned that Pascaline had been around for quite a while next to Mom's Apple Pie. I'm sorry I never experienced their cute bistro in Forestville, but I'm so glad to have found them here near Montgomery Village.

Arrived a few minutes before they were opened and there were already guests waiting outside. Plenty of outdoor seating. The team was still filling the bakery case with more scrumptious goodies. I came for two items: Kouign-Amann and the Caneles. Sad to learn Kouign-Amann we're only available on weekends. Decided to share the Quiche Florentine and Ham & Cheese Croissant for breakfast. Finishing off with a Canele which my friend never had before. Everything was delish. Indoor dining was bright and plentiful. Service was great too!

Stopped in with my boyfriend for a weekend lunch at this cute bistro, and it was lively but not too packed! You order and pay first at the counter, then seat yourself and your food will be brought to your table. We also had to ask at the counter for water glasses. Service was very friendly and efficient. My boyfriend ordered the albacore tuna sandwich and I got the fresh mozzarella panini. We also shared a slice of the broccoli and cheddar quiche, and got the bread pudding to-go for dessert. Everything was quite yummy, and pretty much tasted exactly as you'd expect. The panini was a little on the salty side, probably because of the sun-dried tomatoes, but I still liked it. The bread pudding had chocolate in it, which I didn't expect, and personally I think it would've been good without, but if you like chocolate then it's still probably a win. The side salad that comes as an option with the sandwiches was HUGE and very well-dressed. The side of chips is just a bag of the Kettle brand potato chips. The menu is a little on the pricey side but the portions are pretty big. We also happened to have a gift card which is why we splurged a little. The pastry displays look delicious and I hope to come back and try some of the other desserts!
